Marketing Coordinator

The position of Marketing Coordinator is primarily responsible for assisting the marketing department in the development and execution of direct marketing programs.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

1. Assist in acquisition, maintenance, analysis and utilization of customer lists.

2. Support customer communication, mailings, online and related activities.

3. Assist the Marketing Associate with the implementation of a complete marketing program and marketing initiatives.

4. Among other things, the Marketing Assistant will assist in writing and designing marketing materials, which include but are not limited to articles, presentations, brochures, press releases, and monthly newsletters. Help with website organization and updates.

SKILL REQUIREMENTS: Strong communication (both written and oral) and research skills. Good analytical and creative problem solving skills. “People person” who is confident and has a positive personality. Strong organizational and time management skills are critical – must adhere to deadlines, multi-task and be able to prioritize.

Ability to work both independently, with minimal supervision, and in a team environment. Ability to learn quickly and manage workload in a demanding but collaborative environment.

Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Google and Excel. Must be proficient on the computer. (NOTE WELL: DO NOT RESPOND TO THIS AD IF YOU ARE NOT PROFICIENT WITH EXCEL AND WORD.)

Law Clerk II - Current Law Student or Recent Grad for Part -Time or Full Time Position

This is a great opportunity for a law school student or (recent law school graduate) to learn real estate and finance law in a fast -paced environment while you work toward your law degree. We are a  Farmington Hills based boutique law firm specializing in real estate and finance law.
This is an hourly position and can be full time or part time as your schedule permits.

Job Description

Duties generally require the performance of entry-level technical and analytical legal work under immediate supervision of the assigning attorney on a full or part-time basis while pursuing a law degree or awaiting the results of the Michigan State Bar Examination. 
Assists experienced staff attorneys as required by the demands of a particular case file, including, but not limited to, performing any needed law & motion work, legal research, investigative tasks, and a variety of other law-related functions for the assigned project and/or based upon the needs of the law firm. 
On occasion, also helps non-legal staff in accomplishing their assignments when law-related issues and/or other legal tasks are involved. In conjunction with the legal work involved, the position requires learning, applying, and adhering to the policies and procedures of the firm. 
We provide hands on, practical in-house training.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare drafts of legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, opinions, complaints, motions, subpoenas and other correspondence from verbal and written instructions.
Collect, records, organizes, documents, and analyzes data relative to the research of legal issues. This includes, but is not limited to, researching and verifying points of law cited in motions, briefs and other legal memoranda.

Inputs work time into the firm’s billing system on a daily basis.

As needed, assists attorneys at client meetings, depositions, court hearings and provides additional support to the firm’s trial attorneys when requested.
Must be able to work independently and be able to organize, prioritize and multi-task numerous assignments of varying scope while meeting assignmed deadlines in a timely manner.

Researches and downloads data and documents from the Internet, the Federal Court “PACER” system, various government agencies, etc. This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing, extracting and analyzing information from legal and technical materials, including correspondence, reports, procedural guides, and other instructional resources.

David Soble is a graduate of Michigan State University ('87) and The Ohio State University College of Law ('90). His focus has been on real estate law and lending law. His background is unique in that he has extensive practical experience and knowledge working with commercial, residential, and lending transactions. He has managed sizable loan portfolios (over $300 Million) consisting of commercial and residential real estate for national banks. He was managing attorney to several notable lending institutions and their default loan servicing portfolio. 

He is a licensed real estate broker and has authored books and articles on real estate foreclosure, commercial loan negotiations, and consumer rights.
